We decided to realize our new restaurant in the old carpentry.
A rustic yet elegant setting, surrounded by nature with the view of the gentle landscape of surrounding hills. The spacious, bright room is cozy and can accommodate up to 50 people. It is perfect for both a romantic candlelight dinner or for families with children who surely will not get bored!
Our restaurant is perfect for private events of various kinds, such as parties, birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms and ceremonies. It is ideal for business lunches or dinners, for meetings and small conferences, when you want your meal time to be true relaxation, with nature close at hand! Outside the restaurant you can also have excellent banquets or buffets in the cool summer evenings. Even an aperitif, late in the afternoon, can be the occasion to find a pleasant place and also to discover our products!
Typical Tuscan cuisine reflects the identity of Il Faetino, simple and natural, as well as dishes prepared in accordance with tradition and always using natural local ingredients.
The pig, of course, is the main ingredient of Il Faetino's restaurant, we try to exalt its rich taste in every dish we cook and try to prepare it in many ways to satisfy every kind of taste!
From the Antipastone ( an appetizer ) full of homemade cured meats and delicious home-made specialties, we process our own pigs so that you can fully appreciate the freshness of the meat!
In a few steps, from breeding to the state of transformation into our butchery, to end up in the hands of the cook in the kitchen!
Among the dishes to be mentioned are the pappardelle ( a typical kind of pasta ) with wild boar, to continue with the arista ( roast pork ) cooked with its bone, the rosticciana ( grilled pork meat ), fried pork chops or saltimbocca ( pork chops cooked in pan ) ...
Classical Tuscan cuisine with Pappa al Pomodoro ( tomato juice bread, beans and vegetables ), aubergines “alla parmigiana “ ( cooked with cheese ) and much more, always paying attention to the seasonality of the fresh products, such as our mushrooms and seasonal vegetables!
The Faetino restaurant does not forget those who do not want to eat meat and propose vegetarian tasty dishes with fresh vegetables collected from our vegetable garden and cooked with extraordinary imagination.
The idea that distinguishes us is to propose a resdient menu with various dishes and, every week, propose 'Special' dishes that are directly related to what the breeding and garden offer fresh .... without forgetting eggs, simple but delicious (and always fresh at Il Faetino!), prepared in a thousand different ways with as many recipes.
